Prevent Summer Hair Damage

Summer is filled with long, sunny days and outdoor activities. While we take measures to protect our skin from harmful UV rays, we can’t neglect other parts of ourselves that need protecting.

Protect Your Hair

Similarly to applying sunscreen to your skin before stepping out into the sun, you should also add a barrier to your hair before your outdoor activities.

Swimming in chlorine can strip the natural oils from your hair. Before jumping into a pool, we recommend applying the Transformative Hair Mask to your hair.

Applying the mask to your hair will create a barrier between your hair and the damage that chlorine can cause.

Avoid Overwashing

We also recommend that you avoid overwashing your hair. Overwashing also strips the hair from its natural oils and can create dry, frizzy hair. 

We suggest washing your hair no more than 2-3 times a week.

Trim Your Ends

While taking preventative measures is always important, we know the urge to use hot tools is always there. Straighten your hair, curl it, do whatever you want to do.

But don’t forget to trim your hair every 6-8 weeks to prevent those pesky split ends.
